This front cover presents a background picture of a guilsborough student reading while leaning on a wall of graphiti with the caption "are you too cool for school" which is appealing to the target audience because it is humerous and controversial, presenting a contrast between working hard and rebelling. Icould improve this by making the font more interesting and eyecatching, however the picture is the main asset of the cover and stands out reguardless of the font. I could also incorperate more inticing headlines on the front cover which would improve it. The title of the magazine is in bold and has an exclamation after gulisborough, which therefore makes it have more of an exciting edge to it. Futhermore i could have added a white shadow to the font to make it stand out more :)

media magazine front cover and contents page
This contents page isn't very eyecatching, however it is easy to read and intices the reader to read on further into the magazine with the text. It has a picture presenting a guilsborough student studying in the library, which makes the page have better visual age which again makes it more inticing to read on. The deep red and black colour scheme gives the contenets pages a more sophisticated look which would appeal to the age group of 16-18 year olds, Also it makes the picture stand out more because it is not over crouded and off putting to look at because there is too much going on.

YOU KNOW YOU LOVE US!
During the filming and planning of " you know you love us" we ensured that it appealed to the teenage audience it was aimed at. This was done by filming our day to day lives as teenagers ourselves. It is also appealing to this audience because it has an element of fun and a sense of freelifestyle, which teenagers can appreciate. The technical skills i developed when filming were a range of angles, editing and how to use a camera efficiently. We represented social groups and places of the target audience it was aimed at by filming us and a friend mainly at my house where we spend some of our time.
